I got my new to me engine. 302 with 351 heads. I did some work on it and cleaned it up (not that it really needed it). I also installed my new centerline clutch, It will soon go into the 68 with the NV3550.

>>>>> I see a engine issue that needs correcting immediately..... it's good your using the PCV valve on the passenger side, but it's a very bad thing for your engine seals to have that driver side valve cover sealed up with that oil fill cap....... you need to run a 5/8" hose to the air cleaner like stock, put a direct mount breather or do a remote breather set up.... I prefer a remote breather with a 5/8" hose going to the valve cover 'cause it keeps both new & older engines the cleanest........

Hopefully I can find a cap that fits the tall oil fill tube on these valve covers. I had thought about doing what you said but had since forgotten about it. Thanks Where did you get your fill caps that fit your valve covers?

I think I seen that motor before but for the life of me I can't remember!;D

I still can't believe you cut the truck!

Job well done even if it's cut!%)

Jeff, I got the engine from some old Bronco Hermit that lived in the wilds of Fairview inside his old 66 U13.
I do plan on having an uncut also, Small lift and 30 inch tires, Fuel injected 6 from a yet to be spoken of source vehicle. Mallard or Boxwood green with a whimbelton white top and grille, stockish interior etc.

I had an exhaust hooked up. I ran two pipes into a y and back along the transmission passenger side to a simple turbo muffler. I then had it exit the passenger side just in front of the passenger side tire. Sounds really good, Loud if I stomp on it but mostly just purrs along. All the interior sound deadner really makes a difference inside too.
I need to drive her some to get everything dialed in now. COOL.

Thought I would update this thread. I installed a steel half Cab Top for the weather. Here is how she is now.
