That really shows up the eyebrow detail in the grill. I have always ahd a hard time picking that detail out in the past, but it is as clear as day on yours. Looks great!

Windsheild frame hold down nut repair

The Windshield frame needed some attention. The Passenger side had some not too serious rust issues. The drivers side was fine, due in part to the vacuum wiper tube location allowing any accumulating water to drain. The passenger side has no such drain so there was some rust issues. I patched two locations and replaced the retainer nut for the windshields drop down knob.

To replace I found a nut that fit the windshield knob bolt and cut a similar size hole in the frame where the old nut once was. I then hand tightened the knob to back the nut up against the inside of the frame in the proper location. Next I welded in the nut and did the necessary paint prep.

fast forward to today!

Crappy day working on the bronco! Broke my passenger side wing window installing it today. Now I have to get another one cut and tinted. Not a huge cost but unnecessary. The roll bar i purchased, used, fits like a POS! I will have to cut and reweld it. Of course I have already painted it and everything. That's it for the rant!
Here are some pics of what "Friday" looks like today.

No more work on the Bronco for two weeks! I need a break. I'll be sitting on the beach in California!
