I spent the last week working on these bumpers and was wondering if you all could give me some input. What do you all think? what could be better, what do you like. I like the front one pretty well. If it seems like people like it and theres a small market for this style, I'm gonna build some to sell. It seems to me like some people can't afford and don't need those heavy and rather expensive winch bumpers.

Very nice. The only thing I would say is they would look really cool if you could raise them to fill the body lift gap.

Very cool.

blazinchuck, I could definately build one that would allow for a winch, I have some ideas on a design but am hesitant to build anything because I would like to be able to build it for a specific winch due to the varying sizes and shapes, if your interested pm me.

matt, ya I was thinking the same thing, trouble is I don't know how the trucks will be set up that these will go on and I'm worried about fitment. guess if I built to order my problems would be solved.
I would like to try a different design that would allow for filling up that space, and protect the gas tank.

thanks, Daniel

I like em, but I'm still partial to the stock bumbers. I'm trying to come up with a way to integrate a heavy spare carrier into one.

You might want to consider putting in a receiver (in between the top/bottom tubes) for the rear bumper. Other than that, they look good!

Looks good! Simple, but functional. That's probably the mind-set of most folks around here. I like the idea of a receiver hitch in the back, but I am not sure that tube would hold up to some serious pulling. If you could beef up that center section, you'd be good.

Dude, somebody stole the grass out of your yard! ;D

The bumpers look good. I think your tubing design on a plate style bumper would look really killer.

thanks,
ya I have thought about the plate but dunno if it would look weird having a plate bumper w/ ounded edges. They seem to look good because they're so angular, but I'm gonna mabey give it a shot on the next one.

in Albuquerque NM the city comes and steals anything thats too green right out of your yard!

Do you have a body lift? If so...I got some info for you?

Albuquerque, huh?

That's the only place I've ever gotten a lap dance for $6. LOL.

One of my good buddies drives the new commuter trains out there. The new ones with the roadrunner on the side. If you ever get to yell at the train driver, ask him if his name's Clem. Send him a :flipoff: from me. ;D
