Well turns out my BumperLift works with Toms Offroads rear reciever hitch! Thanks Lou Gabriele for passing that along. It’s not something I ever worried about since I don’t tow with my bronco but I get asked this question a lot. Body lift gaps be gone!

I too just had our local machine shop simply bend myself a panel ..
Mine has been so many years ago like 15 .. it was something like 65 inches . & ABOUT A 2 INCH LAYING IN THE BED OF MY BRONCO. & IT MIGHT HAVE HUNG DOWN 4 INCHES . AFTER Painting it black like the inside of my bed .. I never notice it at all any longer .

I finally have 2" Bumperlifts to sell! Current I have 5 in stock, but 2 are spoken for. I should have more this week as the machine shop finishes them. This kit removes the gap from having a 2" body lift!

Well this looks great! This is the first time anyone has used my Bumperlifts with the Duff's filler panels to hide the gap from a 2" body lift!

2" are now in stock and prices came down! I ended up switching manufacturing because of massive delays. Also I finally have the 2" bumperette versions to sell. Exciting!

One of my customers did a shaved rear bumper, bumperette fronts with a 1" Bumperlifts! Looks pretty darn clean.

I have been eyeing these for a while. But one thing I don't understand, and maybe I just missed the critical thread here, but doesn't this move the bumper out 1 inch? Is out an inch better than too low by an inch? I would like to see a picture from the side. I'm confused maybe.

My original design was out 1". But I soon found out that wasn't needed. It keeps the bumper forward and aft identical to stock. The lifts sit inside of the frame horns.

bumperlift.com has more pictures if you need. Or check out my instagram @bumperlift

What a great frame for a great price.

I will send some photos when the bronco is on the road, in a few weeks. Awesome product! Easy install. A must for any bronco with a body lift and stock bumpers.

I just sold my 100th Bumperlift kit! Thank you everyone for the support and thank you to my marketing team who troll posts with giant gaps and force the owners or build shops to fix the ugly gap:)

Well I knew it would happen eventually. But I have my first build shop copying my patented idea. Which sucks. What should I do? Send an email?

I hold 4 patents. This is my first copy. I also do wholesale pricing for build shops. I bet they send close to what I would charge making their own poorly made copies.
Let me start by saying I have your Bumperlifts, and they are an excellent product that I would recommend to anyone!

That said, there are a few things to consider in this situation. While I believe your design is the best, similar approaches have likely existed for a while. For example, in photo #149 of that listing, it’s clear they’re using spacer tubing with a longer bumper bolt—a completely different approach from your solid-piece design. Additionally, the second Bronco with the 2” bumper lift uses a distinct design involving rectangular tubing with a spacer to contain the bolt, further differentiating it.

I’m sure this is frustrating, but it might be worth evaluating how distinct their design truly is from yours. From what I’ve seen, I seriously doubt a patent expert would classify this as copying.

On another note, I’m pretty sure the seller is an active member of this forum under a different username than the BaT listing. From what I’ve seen, they seem to put out a couple of builds a year at most, rather than operating as a full-fledged build shop.
