I am still new to Broncos, so give me a break when I ask this question. I am driving my bronco ONLY on road, without any offroad in mind. I am getting a 2.5" lift, but I cant decide whether to get it from BC, or JBG. Price is a factor. Would it be cheaper to buy everything seperately? Does anyone have a complete parts list needed for a suspension lift suitable for JUST daily driving? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

usually you get a better deal when you buy everything in a kit. i was going to buy just leafs and coils for mine and it was going to cost me almost as much for that than it was for everything. other thing is when you buy a kit, everything is a matched set. you don't have to worry about the front or rear sitting higher than the other.

i've heard too many horror stories about JBG, i'd buy a kit from BC or tom's. both companies are very easy to deal with and nice. a friend of mine has JBG's leafs on the rear of his and it sits 2" lower than the front. i have tom's on mine and i love it! rides good and handles like i expect it to.

I got my Stage 10 5.5" lift from Tom's, I can't say enough about those guys, Russ was great.
And yes you do save when you but a kit. Price was my main factor for going with Tom's, their kit came with shocks where other kits were the same price, but then you had to buy shocks separate... After all I figured that is why I wanted a kit...so everything came together..

i ordered from toms. ask teejayandtina how he likes it. i got strapped for cash and sold it to him.

the package is significantly cheaper than seperate, as long as you are ordering all that stuff anyway. they guys at toms let me customize with rancho shocks. chuck is great for that also, and the wild horses folks said they would do the same. dont skimp on the springs. the guys that got add a leafs hate em. too stiff. you dont need the 11 pack springs unless you care about articulation for crawling. that what i heard from a couple places.

does he really need a kit? only 2.5in. i say complete bushing kit, adjustible trackbar and the springs.could he even run a 1in block in the rear? it would sit about level probably(you guys will hate me for saying the block word, but i know stock springs ride nice and smooth) with 2.5 lift do you really even need to change the shocks with street drivin only on mind? if thy arent broke keep runnin them on the street, id buy street shocks from pepboys before any offroad ones if your just drivin on the street, trust me i know a thing or two about where to spend money and not to on shocks. ;D

actually x the bushing kit,run 1in block in rear(no new bushings) change c-bushings (correct caster) trackbar bushings(usually bad)
1:coils,2:adjustible trackbar and 3:the couple bushings. cheap and minimum work :)

I say an add a leaf in the rear, and some springs up front, and if you didn't want new shocks, do shock extentions. looking probably 250-300 like that, not bad, but if you went on road all the time, I recommend dual front shocks, I know I will get flamed for that, but for braking and turing at speed, they help alot! let us know what you think...

dual shocks do give rougher ride, but for saftey like you said no arguement from me there. i recomended block because of how much easier to install compared to add a leafs(take off one ubolt put longer one in,take of other put in longer one,let it hang, slip in the block). addaleafs definatley have much less axle wrap if any(2.5lift) but they ride so much rougher than broke in stock springs. mine were stiff, shouldve ran a 1in block, but no bigger than 1.5 ever! ;D do you really think new shocks or even extensions are necissary for him?

I would like to add my two cents here.
Justin's truck is a very nice daily driver that is clean and build with some high quality parts. I think he is right in line buying a high quality complete 2.5" kit. My recommendation is to buy from BCBroncos and give Chuck a call personally and tell him that you are building a street truck but you want it to ride nice. I would get a full leaf pack, new coils, and everything Chuck suggests. If there are parts you don't need he will cut them off the price and get a kit for your needs. I think you should buy nice parts once and be done with it. Thats my opinion. Knowing how nice your truck is I think you want a quality lift. Good luck and let us know what you decide.

JBG has the same springs as BC. They have deavers. I think that is what BC has. If they are from the same company how can they be worse??

chuck knows what he's selling, JBG doesn't. he'll just send you something. i'm just going by what i've seen.

i have tom's on mine. it's a street driver 95% and off road 5%. i have the 11 pack of leafs and progressive rate coils, i'm very happy with how it rides. i've done add-a-leafs on other vehicles and they ride stiffer than mine does. do it right, replace the whole pack. look at it this way, your old suspension is over 30 years old. it's cheap insurance.

if you are going to run a block, buy good ones, not cheapies. i saw a block break in big bear last year. also i wouldn't go bigger than 1" with a block.

Chuck @ BC Broncos has my highest recommendation. I live next to Duff's but buy from BC Broncos. What does that say? :)
