C-Bushings on full width high pinion dana44

Questions for those who have done this with Duff long arms or those who know.

FWHP Dana44 wedges at its stock location which is about 2" outboard of a stock EB dana44 axle. Duff long arms at location on frame. This will have some degree of deflection on the C-bushings.

Has anyone notice if this would deteriorate the poly C-bushings quickly?
What is the resolve?

just was wondering if you were able to get some sort of answer about the C-bushings and the angle back to the frame. I am looking at getting a set of 79 bronco axles for my rock crawler.

I don't have an answer on that but I have a 78 f150 with that axle. To make up for the width at the frame you could try out-boarding the rear mounts using something like this: https://www.ruffstuffspecialties.com/OUTRIG-45.html I got these for the super duty axle swap on my F150.

With that said, 33x12.5x15" on my F150 rub just a little at full lock on the stock radius arms.

I ran full with on the racer with duff long arms. I had zero issues with the C bushings. I understand your question but it was not an issue with me. I had the axle out several times for different reasons, gear change, traction rebuild, seals, but never a bushing issue. Dont worry about it. Are you axle tubes bigger dia. than stock? I have seen 1/4'' spacers between the c's to space them out allowing the the larger tubes not to squeeze the crap out of the bushings. I think Duff has them but I know you will just make them if you need them.
