C4 bellhousing, flexplate, starter combination

So, I have a bell housing for a 164 tooth I have both the 164 & 157 flexplates, the TC that came with tranny has 10 1/2 " pattern. The pattern on the 164 tooth is 11". Can I use the 157 with the 164 bell housing or will I have starter trouble? The other option is buying a 11" pattern TC. My starter has 10 teeth. I need to know what is the correct combination. Please and thank you.

buy the correct TC, using that 157 mustang flex plate will definitely give you issues unless you switch to a matching bellhousing and midplate/shield.

Absolutely impossible for the 157 flexplate to work in a 164 tooth bellhousing. No exceptions.
