very cool. i want to get a gathering at the local bob's big boy when they do their auto events.

Bob's is a little tricky for getting a big group together. The parking lot is on the small side, and they don't do anything to keep non-classics out of the spots. Lots of minivans, newer cars, Harleys, etc. taking up many of the few spaces there are.

You also have to get there at about 3:00 in the afternoon to get a space at all during the warmer months (or show up after 9:00).

The nice thing about Cars and Coffee is that the parking lot is gigantic and it's somewhat easy to park several cars in a row, as long as you arrive by about 6:30 or so.

where exactly is the place

It's just north of the Irvine Spectrum in the parking lot of the Mazda building. Can't remember the exit, but if you're headed south on the I-5, and see the Mazda building (right next to what used to be the Ford/Jaguar/Land Rover/Volvo building) just to your right, it's the next off ramp.

If you follow the lines from the door , looks like rockers have been tucked smooth and they used that for the new body line. shortened the area under the rear tails.
looks clean , Ilike it.
