cable shift

I know in a past post someone was was going to try a cable shift for the AOD for the stock column shifter. Anyone know if this worked? Having trouble trying to get the hard linkage to work right.

Go to the ididit site and they have a stock column cable shift setup for AOD. BI

Do a search on "AOD conversion" and there is a post on the first page of results with pics of a perfect hard linkage set-up. I copied it and it is easy and works perfectly with everything ligning up correctly on the indicator.

I will do the search and check out the post for the linkage. On the ididit cable shift I was concerned that there was not enough room for the bracket on the steering column.

That is exactly why I went with the solid linkage option.
