We had a great turnout this last weekend from the Socal Bronco group, 26 rigs total, with 23 EB's. A few of of camped and the rest stayed in the nearby hotel. We did a nice run up Doran Cyn which took most of the day. Surprisingly no major issues with such with such a large group. But we did come across a JK that needed some help. He was glad to see us, he broke both front u-joints on a very tough section. I suffered a little carnage, lost my rear fiberglass flare and my door handle to a rock, but not sheet metal damage. :) The weather was perfect and seeing all my Bronco friends (new and old) made for a great weekend.

Mark

first shot's a CC (calendar contender) for sure.
In fact, send that shot in to Jim to see if there's still time to get it into our next catalog!

Glad you had fun. Looks like it from here...

I used to go there a couple times a year back in the day. Great place to camp/ride/hike/wheel. The best part was in n out and Harveys was 15 minutes away if you needed a "break".

It really was a great trip... I think it might have to turn into an annual So Cal Bronco's event Mark!

I still don't know how you managed to break the button off your door handle without breaking the actual handle... unsolved mysteries!

Thanks for the photos Mark! I saw them on Facebook. Those are some great shots.

Bundy, it used to be sort of an annual run for us. Actually we used to hit Calico a couple of times a year. I'm glad there's a renewed interest in the area because its one of my favorite spots. I couldn't make it this time but hope to on the next one.

I'd like to go back before the BBBB. April or May. Now that we've all been there, and know the area, maybe we won't have to follow the Landabuiser.%)

I'd like to tag along if time allows me. Looks like a great place to see. Btw did you drive up there or tow it?
