Can you run the stock plastic type fuel lines with a Carter

Bought these lines a while ago. stock type plastic 5/16" diameter

Now thinking about running a carter gp4070 electric fuel pump

Am I going to have to get new lines, or will these stock type plastic ones work?

the low pressure rubber fuel line is pretty cheap, very flexible and will clamp a helluva lot easier than plastic/nylon, but I don't have any experience with the plastic lines.

you can pick both of those up any auto parts store- pretty stock electrical pump.

i ran my P4070 with plastic line for a while, the original 37 year old plastic line. never had any problems. but if given a choice i'd probably run aluminum line. i've since changed to the blue aeroquip rubber hose.
