then why post???????????????

LOL! Cause most folks on here can not get 10,000+ posts by only posting relevant or informational posts.

In order to do this you have to post a buch of "me too's" and other short, meaningless things!

Nothing personal Sprdv1, just one of my many peeves ;D

I just made this exact same post about a week ago on NorthwestClassicBroncos.com and came up with the same link. I found it in a box of stuff I had purchased and didn't know where it came from. Rumor is it's specifically setup for the optima batteries and doesn't fit most standard batteries.

I thought of the same thing when looking at the picture. The top is obviously designed to fit around the optima, but should also fit any flat topped battery. The part that makes it not so flexible is the lack of hight adjustment and the base apears to have a pocket machined to fit the Optima as well. A square battery will probably be damaged if it were to be supported by it's corners, only.
I guess you might be able to flip the plate over to solve the square battery thing, and maybe shorten the verticals and use longer bolts for hight adjustment.

After I typed all of that, I read the desctiption: "The battery tray was designed for and will only fit OPTIMA batteries."

Sad, a little extra work and the maker could really open up their market cap.

Looks like you'll need a new Optima as well!... I run this tray with a 4 terminal yellow top & love it! Don't have to worry about that battery going anywhere!

Just to throw another wrench in the works, I think it only fits specific Optima's too. I have one that is square on one side of the bottom and round on the other an this won't fit. I think it's a type 35 or something but don't get me lying.
