Carb guru needed... jet size on a 289

Does anyone know what was the stock jet size for a 289 Autolite carburetor?

I have intermittent stumble in a 1/8- 1/2 throttle. I have a #46 and #51 which seem to be on the opposite ends of the spectrum. I think the jet of choice was #49 but not sure. Messing with the airs screws and timing can change the stumble from almost gone to running poorly less at open throttle or idle. I’m not sure what the truck is wanting low to mid range.

Any thoughts!

Thanks!

I've only rebuilt those. I've never tuned them.
I'm wondering if there are various power valves available to fine tune the thing?
A good part store should have jets. Try NAPA.

For some reason I started collecting 2100 Autolite carburetors. Not any Motorcrafts just the Autolite.I have various venturi sizes from 1.08,1.14 and 1.23 I think.I even have a 1963 casting Autolite with a 1.08 venturi size and every one of the them have a 48F jet size in them. Now I don't know who or what had been tinkering with them but I think if the 46 is too small I would go to a 48.I'm not sure if they make a 47 but that would be the next logical step to take since a 46 doesn't work and a 51 I know is way too big.Just my input, good luck.

There is no difference between Autolite and Motorcraft. In 1971 Ford lost the right to use the Autolite trade mark. The '72 Motorcraft 2100s are made at the same factory by the same people as 1970 Autolite 2100s. Allstate Carburetor has sets of jets for 6.25.

Gas Pig you need carb * off mounting base to confirm stock jetting also have to determine if it has correct booster cluster in it as it makes a diff.
