would like to put a rack (basket) behind seats and over the wheel wells, seems like it needs to be 47-50" long, by 20-22" wide. (J**P arent long enough) any ideas?
thanks

wonder if you could just make one out of wood and cover in some outdoor carpet or mock up one out of cardboard and make your own out of some scrap. I know you can weld..

Cargo Rack

Their out there......don't remember what brand this was, but it will work in a bronco. It was more or less a "universal" rack and was on a jeep when I bought it. It had 4 attachment arms that would easily reach to the top of the rear quarters.

I made the rear seat removable on two tracks. I plan on making a large Basket that also will plug into the tracs when I dont want the rear seat in. If you could weld I would say just to use 1" x1" tubing.
Look at Surco racks.

Modify one of these hitch-mount cargo carriers. They have the right dimensions. Just cut off the hitch portion.

Harborfreight has an aluminum one if you want lower weight:

Might be able to find a roof rack that fits:

I'm going to use one of these to mount on top of the roll cage:

Bill,

If you want a custom one, sketch up what you had in mind. My buddy Stan who builds the Micto Sprints has small diameter dies and could bend and TIG it for you and could send it to be powdercoated if you wanted.

I'm not sure what the Jeep racks sell for, but he may not be much more if any. He could likely quote it from a sketch.
