Took the Bronco on a trip and picked up my new Oregon license plates while I was out. Drove about 100 miles. Definitely in the better sounding mufflers. It was awesome! And a little nerve racking.
Congrats! Its a great feeling, I remember the first time I did that in mine. It was an eventful trip, got caught in heavy rain for a short bit and found out I had a bad seal at the back of my intake manifold when my oil pressure slowly dropped. I got out of the bronco and the whole back of the bronco had a coat of oil on it. Sounds like yours went a little better than mine
The best part about it is that I pulled the gauge cluster to keep it clean for sand blasting. Used my iphone for speedo, but had no idea about temp, oil pressure, or fuel level! (Oil was the only one that actually worked, but still....)
