Centech wiring harness extra wires question.

I am getting close to being done with the wiring. I have extra wires in the engine compartment that I will not use. Neutral safety switch, carb solenoid wires etc.
My question is what is the best thing to do with these wires? I hate to cut them in case I need them later. I can't think of an easy way to hide them without taking them out.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance!

When I did the Centech on mine I had a few engine harness wires that I didn't use, but wanted to save just in case. I folded them back and forth a few times and wrapped them with friction tape. Then I taped them to the harness tape to kind of hide them. If I need them, I can pull a couple of strips of tape off the main harness wires and unwrap them. They are pretty much hidden, but I can get to them any time.
Mark.

Thanks for the reply. I like the idea of having them in place just in case. I hate to cut something out and in a few weeks hate myself for doing it.
I appreciate the input. Have a good one!

I kept my extra wires. I put a loom around the bundles. I wrapped the end of the wires and tucked them in the looms.

Centech extra wires

Langester,

I took all of the extra wires that I did not need and rolled the end over and put heat shrink on the end and hid it in the wire loom. I have since gone back to get a wire to power my halos on my headlights. All other suggestions work just as well.

v/r,

Thanks for the replies! I did end up bending the end of one of the neutral safety switch wires, taping the end and stuffing it in the loom. I didn't even think about heat shrink. Great idea, Thank you!

Make sure you tape the ends of the extra wires as they still may be still connected at the other end and may be a potential that they may be energized.

I am in the middle of installing the Centech , It is seems like a nice harness for the money

68Broncoz, thanks for the reply. I did tape the ends of all the extra wires. I am happy with the harness as well. The instructions are a little confusing sometimes but other than that I am happy with it. We will see how I did when I get it fired up, or should I say if I ever get it fired up.
