Center Console options

Hey guys,

I'm ready to purchase a center console for my Bronco and I was wondering which ones everyone likes the best and why. Also, my Bronco still has the factory bulkhead so I would also like to know which center consoles will fit with the bulkhead still in the vehicle.

Thanks!

Hi, I made one with cup holders power port speakers and storage. A picture of it is in my garage. Good luck

I'm a big fan of the Tuffy w/radio option. Very secure (my Bronco doesn't have doors) but easy to unlock/open, great build quality, can mount cupholders on the front or back (i did mine on the back due to my twin stick conversion, and the radio area locks up and stays covered.

I've had them in my FSBs and my EB, wouldn't go any other route.

I'm a cheap basstard. I bought the $30 clutter catcher from Walmart. At least it was made in the USA.

Picture in my garage.

X2 on the Tuffy. I like mine because I kept the stock radio in the dash so could keep the original look, plus they both work independently.

I like the idea of the lockable radio compartment for reasons other than putting a radio in there.

Is the tuffy the same one as the center console offered by Tom's Bronco Parts?

WH and JBG have some really radical ones with switches, lights, hidden compartments, etc...
Check them out

I'll add another vote for Tuffy. Have the radio one in my half cab.

I like the console from Smittybilt. It's cheap, secure, and fits well in a Bronco. However, I cut off the cup holder so the armrest is better located under my arm, and put foldable cup holders to some strategic surfaces to replace the ones I cut off.

I got one of thise back in '86. Too many chicks azz sat on it durin that era of my life and the sides squatted out. I tried to save it a few yrs ago but to no avail! Sent the lid to a bronco friend in La. to match his seats.

I've had this one for quite a few years. It's good quality. It locks but I wouldn't trust it to be secure enough to keep a stereo or firearm when the top is off. It's big enough to hold my wife's purse. It has cup holders for front and back and is padded.
I mounted it on a couple short pieces of Unistrut that I screwed to the floor.

I got the Smittybuilt one and love it! I called Tuffy and bought a lock to match my tuffy glove box and installed it on the Smittybuilt, Now I have one key that works with both and saved a ton of money, THe smittybuilt one and Tuffy are basicly the same thing, but waaaaay cheaper
