Center Consoles with Floor Shifter--Pics please

I recently purchased a Bronco that has an Art Carr floor shifter in it, but no center console. I don't know that I'm crazy about the shifter because it limits the space between the seats for a center console. Wondering if anyone out there has any creative builds/designs for a center console that incorporates a floor shifter such as an Art Carr model. Pics would be great!

I built mine to integrate with my cage. It doesn't have a storage compartment though. Just the shifter and two cup holders.

The shifter console that you came up with just looks badass IMHO! I like it alot! ;D

Awesome thread. I've been thinking about this same thing. I will need to have a box that fits around my shifter. Hopefully I mounted the shifter far enough forward. I'm sure the console will need to be modified--whatever I go with.

Thanks! It was born from a sudden need to save a few bucks. It ain't perfect but I like it. I need to do something different for the release knob for the lid, it didn't hold up, and paint it with something more durable.
