Champion Aluminum Radiator

What size screw is it for the nutserts on the Champion Aluminum Radiator?
It's the thread size on the nutserts that is meant to bolt on the fan shroud.

I can't find a screw that will fit.

I hate using expensive Aluminum Radiators (R.D.) due to the fact that they are throwaways once they crap out.
For the cheap price, these Champion Aluminum Radiators are worth a try.
They are half the price of a recore on the copper/brass radiators.

Damn beat me to it, I went out to the shop and got the tap set out it's 10-32

I did the same thing to try and find out but I only had a 10-24 tap in my kit. I probably broke the 10-32 tap.
I'm heading out to the hardware store now to grab some bolts.

I just dropped the 3 core Champion in today. That bad boy cools extremely well. I am very impressed with it and figure if it does end up needing replaced, it isn't a whole lot more to get another new than fixing an old copper one. Plus they look pretty!

yes, it is cheaper to just to get another Champion, if the price stays the same.

If it lasts 3 years, it pays off.

The expensive Ron Davis Aluminum Radiator didn't last 8 months and no customer service after that. It became aluminum scrap at .60 cents a pound.

Bad Experience with the expense of my hard earned money.

I talked to the actual Champion manufacturer and they were very insistant that they will back their radiator if there are any problems. They even said if I put it in and dont like it within 90 days to just mail it back and they will refund me no questions asked. Seems like a very good company.

Mine has sure been a good radiator.. And it is taking care of my 4BT. Yes I went through about 50 bolts or screws before I FOUND some to plug the hole.

Several ebay sellers with Champions - any recommendations? I'm looking at a 3 row from radiator_wizard now for $225 free freight.
