I am 45 yrs young - always loved the way the early bronco's looked, I was fortunate enough to ride in a precious few but never drove one. When my 14 yr old son started talking about the kind of car he was going to want to buy to drive I was floored when he suggested an "old bronco". Well the wife always rulled against me purchasing one for myself but when it was for him, and a father son project to boot - well we won that battle. We purchased a 74 last october - in decent shape, played with it, wheeled it, replaced the wiring harness, engine, working on rock skis, installed a cage, seats and harnesses...

And as soon as he is driving his daily (he turns 16 this April) I will be in the market for one of my own!

I'll hit 50 later this year and bought my first early Bronco back in 89'. I still have parts of that one going on my current buggy build.

My dad bought ours in July of 1981 and I was hooked at the tender age of 12. Officially became "mine" in 1993.
