Has anyone had an axle cut down and resplined in California? I was trying to find a shop without having to send axles to currie or moser. Any help would be appriciated.
Depending on what axle you currently have you could get upgraded shafts from currie. If you look in there swap meet section sometimes they have alloy shafts mostly 28 spline but sometimes 31 spline. I picked up a set for $90 not long ago and one had a bearing and wheel studs.

You want the axle I have sitting on the shelf in the garage.
I have a left over shortened long side axle (drivers short side suffered a fatal blow when a low grade temperory U-joint let loose) then I put in a set up Superiors with Ox joints. Those good spare parts that just sit...
What do they want for a cut and respline these days anyway?
