I'm posting this on behalf of Classic4x4s. They were too busy and didn't take pics. Hey! They had a lot on their minds! Anyway, this is their EB. The body has been off for about a year. The deadline to finish is Free4All in a couple of weeks. These pics were from 2 weeks ago. The paint has been delayed due to overtime at the office. The engine has been run so that's not a prob. After paint there's wiring, dash, and a bunch of small stuff.

Let's cheer them on so they may finish it and see some of y'all in Tennessee!!

Here's the frame...

UPDATE!! 5/22/04

1week and 1 1/2 weekends to go! The body is completely primed and the jams and inside of grille and doors are painted. Tomorrow the fenders, grille, hood, and tailgate will be installed for the last time and painted. Then there will be the bed liner and all the electrical, etc.

We had a big crew today. Atone time there were 6 people wet sanding various parts of the truck. Good thing they own the lot next door. There were 9 trucks in it... This thing WILL be done!!;)

Update 5/24/04

The body is painted. Paw-in-law stayed till late at night to get it done. Not enough paint to get the tailgate, though. Still some buffing to be done to cleanup dust that settled on the paint.

Tomorrow the tailgate wll be painted and hopefully the bedliner will go on. The doors will be reassembled, and the finish work on the bumpers. Oh and anything else we can get done.

paint pic..

You've got to tell us what color that is! I keep switching back and forth between silver/gun metal gray and green. Your green has me leaning towards green at the moment. Looks great.
