They were cool for the first month or so, then i realized how white-trash (politicaly correct?%) ) they sounded. Not cool. I have them now, and I sound like a jackass.

EDIT:politically* When i put them on 2 years ago, I lived in Western Colorado, and I was in High School. Now when you are in high school, you tend to go against what your parents wish. My dad told me to get the FLowmasters, but I wanted the loud, "Hey police, look at me!" exhaust sound, and since it was my money I went with the 16$ cherry bombs. Since then, I have matured, and my parents moved to So Cal. Now when I go out, unlike Grand Junction, Colorado, where they drive pick-ups and Expeditons, I pull up to intersections where everyone is in Mercedes and BMWs. So not only do I now have the least expensive car, I also have the most loud. The neighbors hate me, because they think I drive fast (@ 12:30 at night), when in fact, It is just loud. Since the neighbors hate me, they bitch to my parents, which in turn yell at me. So now, the first thing to do when I get back home from winter break, because of my parents orders, I have to buy new mufflers again. %)

Sorry to give such a bitter ass reply the first time because (A.) this is a touchy subject between me and my folks, and (B.) I just got kicked out of the Sigma Chi House (again)because they dont like me because I didnt rush there. %)

my buddy has them on his. Basically he hooked them right up to the headers and no tailpipe. Easy cheap setup till he gets money to run a nice exhuast.

I think they sound cool.

Hey now. A simple "i don't like them" would have been sufficient. ;) And you say it like it's a bad thing. I guess some of don't like it "loud and proud...." ;D

and it's spelled "politically". %) Sorry to hit a nerve. Yeah, my parents aren't thrilled. But the neighborhood has other things to yell about when it comes to exhaust tones. My next door neighbor has a custom chopper that he has a tendency to drive up and down the street everyday. And yeah, it's much louder than mine...

Seriously, I don't know where you are in Michigan, but the law down here is pretty mean about too loud. I had a set of bombs on one of mine and got a ticket, basically they waived the ticket if I changed it in 30 days. But it was pretty good at setting off car alarms;D I went with the flowmasters

I don't know what you are running, but my Delta Flow 40 Series Flowmasters have no problem setting off alarms if I give the pedal a little tap...;)

I have the 40's too. They still set off alarms. But are not as loud all around as the bombs. The bombs, I think actually blew out (got louder) daily until they sounded like the next best thing to open headers. Anyways the Flowmasters are great, Plenty loud when you need them to be;)

No biggie.8) I have found out that replying to these forums after coming home from parties is not the most wise, since I tend to rile things up unintentionally.;)
As for the neighbors, they really dont have too much else to do except yell at me. They hate me and my EB, because all I do is work on it all the time: they don't like the grinder and welder too much. My parents tell me that they tell them that they are all happy now since I am back at school, and they get their peace and quiet back.

Broncolove- I really dont know the laws here in MI, becasue my EB is not here. It just sits in the garage back in Cali. Ya'll tend to use too much road salt here, and for some reason, I like my rust free bronco. ;D

I got the 40 delta flows and have no problem setting off alarms if I feel so inclined. They are plenty loud for me, but it really all depends on the type of place you live in. I am in a college town so no one really gives a crap. I could probably run open headers without much hassle (which I might end up doing because my neighbors are pissing me off).

I've got some flow tech glasspacks but i'm saving for some 40 series flows... they're just as loud, but the sound absolutely wicked. It only cost me $120 for my complete exhaust system so i can't really complain. But yeah.. go flows!

Cherry Bomb has a quality turbo muffler similar to the other brands. The sounds are typical to the other turbos on the market.

They offer a low end and a higher end, which I feel could be competitive to the others on the market. Each person needs to make the financial choice of marketing vs. functionality.

I am using the upper end of the Cherry Bomb turbos and feel that they are worth looking at if a person works within budgets and looks for a value based on end result. The sound is very neighborhood friendly, and performance is not hampered.

This is not a glass pack, but a true turbo muffler.

I have the Cherry Bomb brand muffler on my pickup.
It is a square welded design kinda like the spintech?or the dynomax not rounded like the flos.
It has a real nice low rumble at normal throttle levels but really opens up with the skinny applied.
I have the single in dual out on my 96 5.8 but I think that two of these things would sound sweet.
The muffler was on the truck when I bought it so I really know nothing about it ....

My Duff's dual exhaust kit came with the Turbo Cherry bomb mufflers, they are not as loud as those glasspacks from back in the day!

When I start my Bronco (it has headers, mandrel-bent pipes and 40 series with turndowns) every alarm within 200 feet chirps. Even now, when I open up the secondaries, the noise is so intense that cars around me roll up their windows. American cars are supposed to be loud, but not the glasspack loud. If you want REALLY loud weld in a test pipe. Who needs mufflers?

when I bought my 73', the kid i bought it from was so proud of the bombs he just put on. I hate rip apart a new leakless exhaust but i hate cherry bombs. They make my engine sound tired and I heard somewhere they were more restrictive than the '40 series. I live at an apartment in the northwest where it gets pretty cold, but I can't run my Bronc in the morning because it wakes all the neighbors up and they bitch to the office who already hates my EB. My next project is a 3" system with Flows. Cherry bombs are for Blazers.
