are glass packs and cherry bombs the same thing? If so, I am running them and they sound pretty good, not too loud. From what I understand though, as time goes on the glass pack breaks down and then it gets louder and louder.

I have got glass packs and they sound good. Had them for about 5 years now.

Never backfires, here's some pics, no exhaust in the cab either. I am running Headman headers as well.

I'm running duals, though curved not straight, and glass packs. Not deafening but I like the sound of a good turbo muffler better. Deceleration rumbles with muffled backfires, nothing that scares dogs or anything. ;D

I put a set cherry bombs on back in high school and even then I thought it was too loud. That only lasted untill the next paycheck.

There are a few vid clips of mine with the 18" cherry bombs.. it was suprisingly quiet when idling... I just put Flowmaster Series 40's on it a couple weeks ago.. Check out the Bronco clips. Had them just like the pics above..

I have headers and cherry bombs. It is really loud. Especially above 4,000 RPM. It not bad at idle.
