Ok guys, A friend has offered me this axle and I’m wondering if the spindles will work for the brake conversion. It’s from a 70/71 Chevy Suburban and he thinks it’s a Dana if that matters. I have attached pictures for reference. Please tell me it’s the right one. These dang spindles seem to be the hardest parts to find to do this mod. Thanks, TW

Use your original drum spindle with a spacer like is mentioned on here that moves the rotor out. You just need the chevy caliper bracket and caliper, and the ford rotor. I have done it a few times.

NO Wrong ones. That spindles number is 706528X Spicer number .

DuraSolid MAKES ONE ALSO It's no. maybe 706528x706539x 926636402...
& If you have access to a lathe you can take the chevy large spindle & turn it down I think just one surface & make your spindles .
I'm running one or 2 of this kind of turned down spindles. SO Their still a way to get them done.

those spindles will work, or at least did for me. I've converted several of those fronts to disc and used the same spindle, the clocking on the knuckles is a little different but the parts always fit together.
