Anyone able to wire a bronco or know someone that can in Chicago? I got majorly screwed on a resto and the guy didn't even finish the job. Body looks great, but it dosen't start yet and he didn't hook up my new cenetech wiring harness. Please email alexhperry@gmail.com if you can help.

That really sucks that this had to happen to you. One advice I can give you is to give it a try yourself. Im not a wiring guy and yet somehow I am managing.

Read the instructions at least twice and lay out the entire harness. You will notice that every wire is labeled every 6 inches which makes life a lot easier. After that its really just about knowing what the different components are called. You have several guys on here that know the wiring on the Bronco by hard that can answer any question you have.

Once you turn that key and the rig fires up, thats an awesome feeling of self accomplishment. Basically you will be quite proud of yourself. The huge benefit is that you will actually learn something and also be able to diagnose things when something goes wrong. Its a good thing to know how something works.

It will take a bit longer but its worth it.

Like NYBronco said, Give it a shot yourself! I think that you will be suprised to find that it is really not that bad! Don't know what type of build you are doing being fairly stock dash layout or custom gauges or whathave you but if you take your time, you can figure it out and the instructions that come with the Centech are pretty good from what I remember. I say give it a shot and there are alot of members that can answer any questions you might have! You can also check out this thread that I found on the Centech Wiring which should help I think:

I am amatuer but willing to help in a warm garage after the first of the year. I am far South Suburbs. Should only need to connect a few wires to get the motor to fire.

I'm on the Northside if you have any questions. Centech harness is a breeze and with the slightest mechanical ability, you should be able to tackle it no problem.

I just wired up my motor and got it running. It's very easy as long as you read the schematics. Give it a try. I'm positive if you have any questions someone on here will be able to walk you through it.
