I've always considered the EBs as "classics" but lately when opening a craigslist ad for a "Classic Bronco" I see a full size Bronco looking back at me. So if the full size are becoming classics, does this mean the EBs are now antiques?

I guess technically anything over 25 years is considered an antique (me included), but the 66 - 77 Broncos will always be a classic in my eye.

In Oregon you can get permanent (one time fee) antique plates only for 1956 and earlier vehicles.

but you can get permanent special interest plates i.e. classics, collectables, street rods ect if they are 25 years or older but restrictions apply to use such as parades, club events, car shows ect, more or less can't be used as a daily driver if you buy this plate.

these are one time only fees with no renew or periodic registrations. and only cost a additional 12 $ when you register here.

To me the only classic bronco's are the 1966-77 that we all adore so much.

Here in Utah, anything over 30 years can be registered as a "Vintage Vehicle" with some restrictions applied. To me, my Bronco will always be a Classic, but Vintage works for me also. Antique to me will always represent something from the '20s thru the '50s.

My 69 is an Antique, because that is what the tag says. Lifetime tag for $35 if over 25 years old.

To me it has always been:

Antique = any vehicle over 25 years.
Classic = the first run of a vehicle (66-77 Broncos being the first design)
Vintage = old cars following first runs (78-79 Broncos as an example)
