Cloth or vinyl seats?

Just an opinion I'm looking for here. I'm shopping for seat covers right now and am curious what people think about cloth vs. vinyl.

1) I live in AZ and sticky vinyl seats are no fun.
2) I'll run topless (sorry for the bad visual) most of the summer and my rig will definitely get rained in occasionally...

So, what'dyall think?

Down here in the Valley, almost no one I know has vinyl or leather seats. I have cloth seats, and when I run topless or with the bikini, I keep two large trash bags in the console. They do a great job of covering the seats, if there's going to be rain.

I'd go for the seat covers. Then you can have whatever underneath. I also dislike full vinyl especailly here in the desert. as dry as it may be swamp ass always seems to a side effect of vinyl.

Have liked the wetokole covers for a long time. Just can't justify $235 for them.

I'm actually thinking about going w/ the vinyl for durability.... then just getting a set of cheap fabric covers to go over them.

decisions decisions.

I live in AZ but not in the desert. If I was I'd not worry about it. But Flagstaff is up in the Mountains. More rain and less heat. The strong UV index makes vinyl seats almost as bad as in the valley though.

Why not do vinyl and cloth seats. thats what I did.
Vinyl on the outside, cloth in the center.

Then get some good waterproof seat covers.

Here is the e-mail of the guy who made my covers

Vinyl - keep it stock and dry, and then a set of Walmart beach towels on the seats to prevent getting attached to the seat covers. Heck you can even color coordinate it if you want.
