Ugh...trying to get the right clutch linkage parts for my C4 to NV3550 conversion is proving to be a challenge that it shouldn't be.

First I bought used parts from a local bronco guru and it appears I have a 6 cyl Z-bar or bell crank. It fits in the chassis fine but the arms are clocked wrong. Linkages won't hook up. Best I can tell the V8 part should have the arms at 90 degs from each other.

Assumed 6cly part that fits between the pivots is 6.25" long

Next I bought one from e-bay advertised as a 66-74 Bronco V8 part. Correct orientation but its about 1.5" to long, won't fit between the pivots.

Can some tell me what going on here or measure a known 66-77 Bronco V8 part length for me please. I suspect the V8 part from ebay is not a Bronco part.

The early '66's also used a different shape on at least part of their z-bar. Have run into that at least once.

Is this the '73 in your sig MJ? Or something else?
