Clutch, shifting problems

I'm stumped. I finally got my bronco running again after a year of sitting. When I press in the clutch with it running I cannot get it into gear. Reverse grinds like crazy. It shifts just fine when it is not runnin. I have a stock 302 and stock 3 speed transmission with a hurst floor shifter. I disconnected the shift rods while troubleshooting another problem before it sat. I have also changed out the transmission fluid with Royal Purple SYNCHROMAX – MANUAL TRANSMISSION FLUID.
I have also tried to adjust the clutch rod without any change.
Thank you in advance for any help.

Trent.

Hi, where does the clutch pedal seem to push throwout bearing. Mine starts close to the top. If you are near the floor make the rod longer

It feels like it is close to the top. I will try to lengthen it and try again.
If I start it with it in reverse with the clutch pressed, it will jump as if the clutch is not pressed. It has to be a clutch issue, right?

Clutch is stuck to the flywheel. Get it outside or at least pointed outside or where there is nothing infront of it. If truck is pulled into the garage then use reverse. Put it in gear and start it. This should break the clutch loose from the flywheel. You shoukd be able to depress the clutch a split second after starting. But just in case keep your hand on the key and make sure you are jot going to run over anything. Might have to do this two or three times. But it has worked for me in the past

Finally got it fixed. The clutch was stuck to the flywheel. I jacked up the rear end with my floor jack and got it running in second gear. I had my son drop the jack once it was running good. As soon as it hit the ground it broke the clutch free.
