I’m 90% sure that a set of progressive rate springs will improve my ride, but I wanted to double check with those who have expertise before I swap them out. I attached a few photos, my current springs seem pretty beefy. All of my driving is on the road. Thanks!

I replaced the stock springs with progressive springs during the restoration. I like them a lot. Definitely a smoother ride on the street.

For sure - those are beefy constant rate units. Based on the color and wire diameter, those might be old Rancho springs which have a teeth-chattering 485 lb/in spring rate!

This was my first thought as well, ,, my bronco came with those ranch 3inch lift F150 springs as well but I removed them a long time ago ,,,

Progressives work good with a stock Bronco, no aftermarket bumper or winch, if you plan on a heavy-duty bumper and winch go with the straight rate Early Bronco specific springs

I just went through this looking for a better ride. I ended up putting in progressive springs . That helped but what made the biggest difference was the Bilstien 5100 shocks. Yes expensive but they work.

This is new to me and giving me pause as I just purchased some progressive springs from WH but have yet to install. I do have what I believe is a Warn 8274 and big bumper. Should I be concerned? Should Peachy be concerned?

That winch and bumper will be heavy for sure causing the top lower rate progressive spring coils to collapse and sit on each other, not really providing any benefit, if mine I would go with the straight rates for sure, I know Graveyard sells them, or use to

Yes, sir, they look like the 3 1/2” lift front coils in my 77 since I have the “matching” Rancho shocks all the way around. I can certainly attest to the harsh ride they provide.
