Cold weather painting

Whats the coldest inside a shop you can paint and primer. Lows here suppose to be 40 tonight

Use a kerosene salamander or equivalent to heat up shop and metal before spraying. It makes a huge difference.

Correct on the panel temp but air temp needs to be above 60. If you spray base coat when it's cold it will fish eye for some reason. If it's not above 50-60 the hardner in the primer won't start to kick. I used to use a salamader heater in my garage to get the temp up and also used it to "bake" the paint even in the summer.
