Colorado trail (close to denver)

i NEED TO TRY OUT ALL MY NEW MODS. iM LOOKING FOR A TRAIL CLOSE TO DENVER AREA WITH SOME DECENT ROCKS.

Bill Moore Lake will be impassable this time of year. I believe Spring Creek will be also, the garden is pretty high but lower than Bill Moore so it depends on how much snow has been falling up there.

Sure which I would have kept my house in Empire as a vacation home when I move to Mississippi.:cry:

Chinamans by Buena Vista might be a good choice with very little to no snow. Try traildamage.com lots of good info there.

Check this out. Looks like a lot of good information for any trail in colorado. Might find some on there that are not listed.

Also like zenzone said, check out colorado4x4.org, a lot of good info on there.

Cinaman's is a great trail. Was one of my favorite runs. Not as close to Denver as Spring Creek but my have winter access.

If you are really want to flex, Carnaige is right there also. Expect body damage though and have a winch to get out the end. I have never run it but friends say very few have mad the last obsticle without winching.
