went on some more trails around Salida Co. today. went over 100 miles and over 10K feet. didn't get too many pics yet.

Lots of great trails in that area, Mount Antero is fun you can get to over 14K if you want to hike the last 500' or so. https://www.trailsoffroad.com/trails/390-mount-antero

Did hayden in August 2000, shortly after moving to Colorado. Almost got divorced over that trip. Did it in a 1999 fullsize f-150. Medano pass is a nice one that backdoors into the sanddunes.

I bow hunted elk in that area a few years ago. I trained for two years but after a walk across a parking lot I had to stop to catch my breath.

a couple pics from our group today. one of the groups yesterday saw a bear Scoop and group went on black bear pass today. wife didn't want nothing to do with that. guess I shouldn't of showed her any pics and video last week%)
was a good day and nice ride. the last pic was taken out my door
problem uploading pics, will try again later. however the best weather nice and cool 70's during the day

finally made it home, it was 54 degree's when we left yesterday morning.

elevations were killing carbs, and you must have a great cooling system. driving steep uphill for miles and miles. thankfully mine ran great
