Convert a jshift to tshift for the AA 4r70W

Can someone point me to a tech article or video on how to convert my j-shift to t-shift? Apparently the adapter behind the 4r70W makes using the j-shift shifter very difficult. Dont really want to do twin sticks unless absolutely neccessary.

I had to change out the rails in the J to ones in the T. I took it to my transmission guy in San Jose to have it done, as well as a rebuild...
(I did supply the parts, which I had at the time)
