Corbeau seat bracket issues

So I'm rehashing an old topic but I'm having the same issues discussed here: https://classicbroncos.com/forums/threads/corbeau-seat-bracket-installation-problems.206987/

The driver's seat bracket will bolt in in more or less the correct position right away. I'm going to have to shim it up 5/8 of an inch or so with washers so that it will rest even on the floor (due to the factory cage nuts on the bracket) but all four bolt holes line up with the factory positions.

The passenger seat bracket is an alltogether different story. It is undrilled but it has tabs for the factory mounting positions on the tunnel and the floor. Problem is, if I were to use these tabs the passengers left leg would have to rest on the tunnel, and there would be about 10 in clearance between the seat and the door!

I'm just going to modify the brackets myself, but it's disappointing that a vehicle specific bracket should be so far off from the factory specs.. Even if I had aftermarket floor pans, which I don't, the position left and right shouldn't be that far off.

What I'm going to do is weld plates to both the tunnel and floor tabs and drill several sets of holes in them so that I can have a little bit of left right adjustment in possibly one half inch increments. I'm also going to have to weld tabs on the back of the bracket to catch the floor pan above the passenger floor well cargo space, if I want the passenger bracket to a line with the driver bracket forward and backward.

Anyway aside from being a rant, I will snap a few pictures of the modified brackets if they work the way I think they will.

THX,
JB

I will have to look at mine, but I do not believe I had this issue or maybe I just didn't pay attention to that side! I do wish I could tilt it up like the factory.

I have a cage with cross members a little ways behind the seats, so tilt forward and unfortunately recline would not be of much use to me.
I'll get some pictures when I'm up at the shop this afternoon, then once I modified the brackets.

Here's what it would look like if I drilled the bracket and installed as is.

I experienced the same problems with my seats and brackets. Holes didn't line up and the bracket sat up off the floor from the bolt or nut. The Company was no help, sent them pics and they kept saying I was doing it wrong??? Told me to turn the nut/bolt upside down. I finally counter sunk a shoulder bolt and made the bottom flat, redrilled other holes to fit. Paid about $100 each for them and could have built better for $20!!! Later took them out (not able to access back seat) and covered my stock seats!!! Good luck with your's!!! :) :) :)

extremely disappointing to see so many folks with the SAME ISSUE and Corbeau offering no help. Do the rear seat brackets fit like shit too?

They must have definitely made a batch of the brackets wrong or mis labeled them.
I got my seats and brackets in march 23 and they are fine
ask them what the measurements should be for the bronco
sucks
