I'm wrapping up rebuild on my '76 2150 carb. I have a couple minor issues
I'm not 100% certain on so figured I'd bounce them off the group here and
see if someone knows about this stuff.

1. Fuel bowl vent valve actuating lever adjustment:
My carb had the lever a bit mangled, wasn't even contacting the accelerator
pump lever so fuel bowl vent valve was always depressed. Anyone know
what the proper adjustment on this lever is? I'm assuming at curb idle the
lever should barely touch the fuel bowl vent valve or should there actually
be some specific amount of gap or preload?

2. Choke pulldown diaphram:
In my bench testing with mityvac I found the diaphram would leak down
from 10in vacuum to zero in ~5 seconds. I'm assuming this indicates my
choke pulldown is bad, or is there supposed to be some bleed down?

thanks,danny

at idle bowl vent should be open.adjust so at curb idle bowl vent is open.open throtle and vent should close.about 1/8" movement (opening throtle)vent should start to close, and be all closed by 1/4 throtle, approx. pulldown diaphram should not leak down

oleguy74 thanks for the confirmation on my questions. I should be able to
wrap everything up now with a bit more confidence.
