• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

Check out craigslist for Drury, MO. There is an uncut 1966 priced stupid cheap for what it looks to be IMO. I expect this to be snatched up pretty quick.

Thanks, I meant to put the address up there and forgot. What do you think? I can't add it to my fleet but I'm thinking that's a pretty good buy.

if it is what it appears it's a great deal. Think i would rather stay married than try to do this. Just added a '61 F100 uni-body that i pick up on Sunday.
She somewhat understood this - always wanted an Ford from the year i was born.
Kind off crazy i guess - just a thing! Plus uni-body is unique like EB

Look's like a classic case of the owner having NO idea what he's actually got. If it's ANYTHING like the pics I'd say its a steal.

Doesn't look like a '66, I think it's a little later. When did they put the door keyhole below the style line? The grill turn signals look right.

Tail lights look correct for a '66, hub caps don't look like a '66 though. Hard to tell, we all know that parts get swapped on our beloved Broncos all the time.

well it has 68 and up doors on it. 66 tail light lenses. it has the fold down window option so last for that was 69. No side markers back to 68 on that. Looks like the 66 front hubs. my bet is a 68 or 69 with some 66 running gear.

if the master cylinder has just 1 main reservoir, it is likely a 66. 66 is the only year for that style master cylinder. something to check on if you look at it. it is very possible that the doors and top were added. there is no windshield chrome, but chrome on the doors and top. judging by the position the wipers are in, it looks to have vacuum wipers (only available until 68). my guess is that it is probably a 66. get the vin #. might be a half cab or a roadster (which would explain the top and doors).

I wish I was a little closer to take a look at it.
I will just go buy it for you and store it until you get down this way. Then you can look at it all you want. How's the family? Oh yeah, to clarify. You will need to reimburse me for the purchase. I like you but not that much!

took a look today

I drove down and looked at this today. Nobody was there to answer any questions but I took the liberty of snapping some photos since it's for sale. Now I'm new at bronco hunting so any info you guys can offer from the pics let me know. To me it looks like it is a 66 except for the top and doors. The top and doors have more rust issues than the rest of the body. That said it looked like the rest of the truck has significant issues with rust as well but I've seen much worse. I only had a few mins. there and didn't get to investigate as much as I would have liked. I did not see the vin tag in the glovebox and I couldn't see very well on the frame to find it there. The foors probably need replaced front to back. Posts looked good, kickers had rust and previous repair. The frame although surface rusted seed like it would be solid. It does have the single resivoir for the brakes see pics. no back seat. I'll see if I can figure out how to post the pics now%)

paid to be a contributer so I could post the pics but don't see the "pictures Album" link on my User CP. Is there a lag time to process payment maybe?
