Due to some modifications on my Bronco, the stock safety latch will no longer work/fit. Has any one came up with any other option to serve as a secondary safety lock?

I had to move mine, for room for my trans cooler, so I made a new cautch and moved the safety hook.

I had an Autolite carburetor catch fire on me one time. Hood pins seemed to take forever to get pulled so I could lift the hood. I left them off when I painted.

I do need to do something with my hood latch though, may have to see if your idea works on mine.

Thanks for the ideas so far. Appreciate the hood pins offer but I am going with a super stock look. I really like the mods by Savage, going to have to look at it again tonight.

I just got the BC Broncos remote hood latch system installed last night.
