Nice trailer and, as stated, good size for a Bronco. Almost identical specs to my trailer. The van probably is prewired for a brake controller but you don't need a Ford OEM one. Tekonsha Prodigy is a good one.

Second the prodigy. Ford paid Tekonsha to develop the software for their first factory installed controller, that unit is the direct decendant of that research, have had many of them and they are ideal. Id be willing to bet it's plug and play, if it is Tekonsha will offer a premade harness to connect it to the van.

The original creepy van guys. Randy and Pete at Gore "camping" in the van a few years back.
