Custom torque convertor company wanted

Yes & No.

Putting my new ones on both rigs. Won't change DS or trans mounts on my '68 and let me see how it aligns.

on Shorty it will give me a bit more floor & firewall space and not have that big 6r sitting back 1 1/2" farther than my current adapter. Also since I'm keeping the stock converter I am not adding 13more lbs of rotating mass to an already heavy converter.
I like the speed gems because of the torque converter inspection cover and other details. the 13# adapter still bugs me too, and is the biggest downside for me. Hopefully it doesn't eat too much of my performance.

who did you send your converters to, to get these mods done and what was the general cost?

It's amazing how much that 2" of adapter pushing everything back screws things up for fitment... even in a car.... Tunnels don't like that. lol
