D20 Input Bearing (C4)

I’m in the process of trying to replace the input bearing on a D20 which is mated to a C4 input assembly.

I was wondering if the input bearing is pressed on to the C4 housing… I ask because in dealing with previous 3-Speed intermediate housings I've noted that the bearing usually comes off fairly easily after removing the retaining clip… the C4 bearing that I've got does not want to budge…

Lastly would anyone know if the 3-Speed and the C4 input bearings are identical?
