D20 J shift Twin Stick Install

Thinking about installing twin tick on my 73. I got up under the truck but could see how I would be able to get at the rails. Do I need to drop the transfer case in order to install twin sticks or can I access through the floor?

I did mine through the floor without issue. Little tight without a body lift but doable. I used a saw all to cut the rail connector, but if I were to do it again I probably would have used a cut off wheel.

Thanks. I have a 2 inch body lift so maybe it won't be too bad.

check out that option first, if not enuf room drop it

don't think you'd have issues from the top side
