i just purchased some chrome mollys for my D44 from Jeffs. But im only running 33'' right now so cant say how they would hold up. But they claim to be as strong as a D60. They price and shipping to me seemed fair enough. Came with upgraded ujoints also.

I am running the 44 and yukons without problem. I wheel really hard in rocks but don't get gas happy. I have only had one failure so far and it was related to the one time I was gas happy with only the left front tire gaining traction. I would have expected any axle to snap with that kind of abuse. I guess what I am trying to say is it depends on how you wheel. If you like to use the stupid pedal just go to a Dana 60 or 609 and hope you are done with it. I will stick to my 44 and when I get tired of breaking yukons I will upgrade to warns, superior or alloy usa's. See signature for my specs on my bronco.

Warn shafts if you can find 'em. DO NOT go with Yucan't shafts. They're junk.

Can not disagree with no youcants in the front.
But I'm not sure the Warns will be any better since Randy's Ring and Pinion bought out Warn's Hub and Axle division.
We will have to wait to see if the Warn shafts are going the be manufactured with the same quality as before.

Youcant and Warn are out of stock for the outer stubs right now. So buying shafts through Randy's is no go right now.

I bought a set of Moser for my fullsize D44, they are good looking products. I like the larger size U-Joints. I have yet to try them out, but really looking forward to it.

Dutchman motorsports use to make the axles for Warn. They still do make axles but they aint cheap. I have been running them for around 10 years now and just broke my first stub axle. That wasn't the fault of the axle though, I broke both of my ball joints on the top of Back Door (Johnsopn Valley) and the stress of the knuckle not being located by the ball joints anymore meant that something had to give. My CTM u-joint laughed at the stub axle as it shattered in to several peices. So much for my fun at K.O.H.
