actually i think most of the damage was done in texas, with all the rain we had while i was there. i have a new floor pan, but nowhere to install it......

Its been that way for 20 years why worry about it now? POR 15 whats left and then fiberglass it until your ready to fix it right. At least it lets out the floor board heat in the summer time.

cut out a piece of half inch plywood...good as new. so that you can keep the built-in ventilation system drill a whole bunch of holes in the plywood. should work okay except for all the exhaust fumes and heat.

Not so bad. I riveted a galvanized sheet onto my floorboard about 15 years ago.I had to capture the parking brake cable so I could still use the P barke. I just recently stopped using it because the cable is no longer tied into the floor. A $10 fix for 15 years ain't bad. It wouldn't take much to cob that up until you find someone to weld in the new floor pan.
