Hello all,

1967 U15 (Oct 66 build) Dana 30 what appears to be all original. Very stock springtime yellow bronco with a 2 inch lift. Started to change seals, bearings and decided to do king pins as well. Was told by guy at Jeff’s Graveyard I needed the full kit and that the dampener and washer disintegrated and that why it’s not there today….?

Photo 1 what I pulled apart (cup is also very different from what I was sold)

Photo 2 assembled original king pin

Photo 3 what I bought

Photo 4 What origin looks like in open knuckle

What is everyone else doing? When / if I put the whole assembly and press it in how high should it be over the knuckle? I measure just under an 8th of an inch (didn’t break out the mics for this one)

Thanks in advance
