• Be EXTREMELY cautious if someone offers to buy your Bronco for more than your asking price and sight unseen. ESPECIALLY if the buyer is overseas. It's probably a scam.

I want to convert my drum brake Dana 44 to disk brakes. What is the cheapest and easiest way to go? I thought about doing the F150 knuckles and outer shaft, but will this take a different back spacing and bolt pattern that the drum Dana 44 is now. I just bought new tires and rims so it would really suck to have to buy new ones.
Thanks for the help!
Matt
Let me know if you have the parts to convert and what you want for them.

I know you have to change the knuckles and get the tie rod adaptor inserts. Not sure on backspacing. I heard something about it but from what I understand it's very minimal or unoticable. I have all the stuff to do the conversion for mine except new calipers and slides but have not tried to do it yet.

I have a complete set for sale that came out of a 75, including the radius arms. Both are 3.50, open front, limited rear. The caliper and rotors are off but I do have everything. The front hubs will need to be replaced it seemed like the looked a little bent. 450.00 for pair. NE Kansas I will also be posting these in the for sale bin.

I have/had the stuff to convert my 30 or my 44 to disks. I thought these parts would work on either 30s or 44s but was unawre of bolt pattern or offset issues(smart guys: chime in). I ended up paying too much for an already built ebay axle...plus shipping (ouch). Anyway, if you need, I'll repo from the jeep guy I loaned them to. Turns out they're way too heavy duty for a jeep. Scrany little things, jeeps.
