Very Cool! Thanks for the link - this just shows there are still undiscovered Baja's out there. Both have 3 gas tanks & I've never seen a Bronco with a filler positioned right over the original rear tank filler? I wonder if the tank is in the bed of the truck? Wish they had opened the back & showed the inside.

The 75 seems a little questionable. Maybe Todd or Andrew can shed some light on theses two.

U15GLV65953 and U15GLV65956 are on the Stroppe Registry. This one is U15GLV65955 I would say it's legit unless seeing the special order DSO or lack of says otherwise.

Possibly it was in production for the Stroppe conversion when they parted ways with Ford, and never got all the goodies?
Here’s a screenshot of the Marti from the video. It’s U15GLV65955. .

Man, that guy comes across all kinds of incredible stuff. He seems pretty genuine, but have never interacted with him.

He seems like a nice enough guy - and he likes to talk! :). I was on a panel with him at Barrett-Jackson a few years ago and he talked more than anyone else in the group.

I can't really shed any light on them other than what we see in the video. It appears from the Martis that they're both real Bajas. I couldn't tell for sure but I think the '75s shock brackets are there - just that the second shocks themselves were missing.

Andrew is the true expert of course on these and can shed more info. As I recall, the '75s were more of a hodgepodge than previous years in terms of what they put on them.

He "sold them within 20 minutes" of posting the video apparently. After first offering them to a mutual friend of ours.

BajaBrewer - tank is in the bed on that one. My Tampico had same set up during gas crisis.

Yes, the 75 Bajas - some are loaded some are not. One is even uncut, but with a Stroppe rollbar. Lots of the time, if in original paint you'll note that a 75 will have an all black hood and white rear flares. That's a Post-Bill Stroppe conversion. Bill wouldn't have let them out the door unfinished like that.

It's fun to see Dennis learning about a new breed,, knowing enough to have Martis pulled on the cars, and learning how to pronounce Stroppe. I remember those days for myself in '94. I used to call them Stroppies.

Neat to see some more hi dollar collectors getting excited about Baja Broncos!

That 73 looks to have the same roll cage as Jacks (Broncojack)…….pretty rare to see….

That Marti reads nearly identical to mine.
Same options even the same order date.
Mine shows being built 105 days behind schedule..... wonder what that's about.

I too think the front cage may not be a Stroppe unit. We'd have to have better shot of it up near the wiper cover....and also need to know why the glovebox door was loose - probably due to not closing with cage added to front....and the found units with front cage have working glovebox door.

I do know who has them now, but they wish to remain anonymous.

75 Baja Broncos are the end of the line so you'll see lots of variation there - I have detailed notes on nearly all the ones on the registry.
