Reminder - the DFW M&G is tomorrow! From replies here and on the LEBC mailing list we’ll probably have 10 or so Broncos there. If you’re in the area we’d love to see you there! Stop by and meet some Club members.

I had a great time. A couple guys had some trouble with their broncos. One had a fuel pump issue and had a chase car following, so he got a tow the last mile or so to the house. The other was diagnosed with a bad right rear wheel bearing. We were only a mile or so from his house, so he made it home ok. I'm waiting to hear from Scoop who drive his '78 up from Dripping Springs and then headed home afterwards. Hope he made it home ok. That would be a late night on the road in an old hot rod.

I think we had 7 broncos in all. Not bad for a cold Tuesday night at Twin Peaks with one of Santa's elves. (You had to be there.... Maybe Bronco Billy Smith actually got a pic??)

That elf was there for MY entertainment. And I didn't even get to see him dance

I made it home fine - no issues, the 78 ran like a top! It did rain from Hillsboro all the way to Austin though - made for an interesting drive.

Anyway it was a fun M&G with a mix of regulars and some new folks. Yes we had about 7 Broncos there and 20+ people. I got a few pics - and yes, you can see the elf in one of them! - but I'm having a problem uploading for some reason. I'll post the pics when I figure out the problem!

Next NTX M&G Bill has promised a more family oriented restaurant! But Twin Peaks does have good food. LOL

Here’s one pic directly from my phone.

Great to hear! Look forward to more pics. Especially those from the parking lot.

Hmm, fuel pumps and wheel bearings, eh? Starting to sound familiar? The proverbial broken record even...

Now we just have to find out how old the pump was and if it sits. And if the wheel bearings were original and if so, how many miles. And large or small?
Might as well use the drama to add more info to our database, right?;D

FP was BRAND NEW. Driver said it may just be a bad ground...??? Wheel bearing... well, I think it should have be euthanized a long time ago. I suspect there may have been no balls left in the bearing--pretty sure it was small bearing. But he had disc brakes, so that helped him get home. Said he was ready to regear anyway.

If Billy made it I know fun was had by all :)

Even Banjerpicker made an appearance. And seemed like he was demanding that I come visit him at his home sometime. But Billy was telling stories that scared me away!!!!.... %)

He's great host. He took care of me on my trip last Sept. I even got garage parking privileges for the night. Bronco Billy has been known to embellish on a few occasions.

That reminds me . . . I need to thank Banjerpicker - he delivered a tire to me that started its journey in Kansas, went to OCBR and then Brandon brought it to Dallas and stored it since Sept. We have a great community!
