I'm no Guru but I don't believe they came with them from the factory. I'm sure someone will chime in here and set me straight though, only a matter of seconds!
Sorry to hijack, but my question deals with the steering stabilizer bracket used to secure the rod end to the steering linkages. Where can I find one of these brackets?
Most did - but not all. I have a 67 (Nov 66 built) I got in 1984 that was all original - no previous owner modifications - still had orginal engine & carb tags. It had no sterring stabilizer. No weld on bracket like the 66's and no two bolt holes in the cross member like the rest of the years.
My fathers '66 (june) did not have one from the factory. He had it at the garage several times. It wasn't till the dealership owner took it for a ride and DW kicked in at 40mph that it got fixed.
